The Discovery Center, Ages 3 - 6
This is a parent participation preschool, which focuses on the developmental needs of all children, and structures its environment with respect to each child's particular learning style. 
Held at Recreation Annex, Monday thru Friday. Fee is $140 monthly for 2 days, Friday third day option add $40 a month. 5 days a week is $300 a month. Call Cindy Webb at 783-6454 or 790-1235 for availability and information. 

Extended Day Kindergarten at the Discovery Center
Your kindergartners will have fun after school exploring, discovering and learning through play. Transportation provided from CC Meneley, Scarselli, Minden and Gardnerville Elementary Schools.  
Held at Recreation Annex, Monday thru Thursday, Fee is M/W - $140, T/TH - $140, Add Friday - $50, M-F - $300 month.   Call Cindy Webb at 783-6454  or 790-1235 for more information and availability.

Happy Notes Music - Mommy & Me
Explore music and movement with your child as they sing, clap, wiggle and shake with instruments, body motions, parachute play, musical games and activities. Class held at Recreation Annex, 9/7 - /28, Tuesdays 9:15 to 10am or 9/9 - 9/30, Thursdays 4 - 4:45pm.Fee is $45. 

Happy Notes Music - Harvest the Music
This session includes songs, music activities and dances for the fall season.  Instrument play, puppets and creatice movement with a autumn theme.and activities. Class held at Recreation Annex, 10/5 - 10/26, Tuesdays 9:15 to 10am or 10/7 - 10/28, Thursdays 4 - 4:45pm.Fee is $45. 

Happy Notes Music - Nature Notes
Children enjoy the music of nature as they explore and create with the msuic of winter animals, snow, turkey tunes and cornucopia of percussion sounds. Class held at Recreation Annex, 11/2 - 11/23, Tuesdays 9:15 to 10am. Fee is $45. 

Happy Notes Music - Jingle all the Way
Children Celebrate the season in songs as children tap, sing and play along to winter tunes and holiday songs. Class held at Recreation Annex, 12/1 - 12/15, Tuesdays 9:15 to 10am or 12/2 - 12/16, Thursdays 4 - 4:45pm. Fee is $30. 

North Pole Calling
Watch your childrens eyes light up when they receive a personal phone call from Santa!  Santa Hotline Sheets will be available after 12/2.  Santa will be making phone calls on Thursday 12/9 from 4:30 - 6:30pm. Free

Roots & Wings Children's Center, Ages 3 to 5
A part-time developmental preschool program. We endeavor to create an environment in which your children respect themselves and others, while inviting their young minds and bodies to think, create, explore, discover and wonder!
Held Monday thru Friday, Fee is $19 per day, payable monthly.

Twosday Mornings, Ages Birth to Preschool
Wanted: Parents, grandparents,and caregivers with young children who would like to spend one morning a week in the company of your peers enjoying structured and spontaneous playful experiences.
Held Tuesdays, 9:30 - 11:15am October 4  - December 14. Fee is $24 month ($12 in December).

Story Time, Ages 3 to 8
Community Program Director, Carol Nageotte and Kathy Echavarria present theme based stories for children.
Held at Kahle Community Center on the first Thursday and Second Friday of each month from Time 9 - 9:45am. FREE 

Breakfast with Santa
Come join Santa for a delicious pancake breakfast and get your picture taken with him afterwards! Saturday, December 11th from 9 - 11am at Kahle Community Center. Fee is $2. 

North Pole Calling
Watch your children's eyes light up when they recieve a personal phone call from Santa! Santa Hotline forms will be available after December 1st at Kahle Community Center and Santa will be calling on December 16 from 4:30 to 6:30pm. Free.
