Scheduling a Trip
To schedule a trip on Dial-A-Ride, call 775-783-6456.
When you call, please be sure to tell the Dial-A-Ride Dispatcher:
- Your desired pick up time.
- The complete street address where you would like to be pick up.
- Your destination address
- Your desired return trip reservation time (Note: Drivers cannot take trip reservations, you must call in).
Shared Service
DART Dial-A-Ride is a shared service. A shared ride means that you may ride with other passengers on the bus. In addition, the bus may pick-up other passengers along your trip. The operator may ask passengers to accept trip reservations times that are different from their original desired pick-up time. Please try to be flexible so that more passengers can be served. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Transfers
You may transfer to Tahoe Transportation's Valley or Lake Express Routes. The 19X Express Route leaves daily to downtown Carson City. The 20X Lake Express Routes leave daily for Stateline and Lake Tahoe Areas. For more information call 530-541-7149. For JAC connections in Carson City please call 775-841-7433. Designated transfer stops in Douglas county are located at the Tillman Center in the Ranchos, Douglas County Community & Senior Center and the Carson Valley Inn. There may be additional fare charges upon leaving the valley zone.
