Minden, NV – Douglas County has scheduled a series of public hearings to discuss the proposed budget for the fiscal year 2025-26. During these meetings, the Board of County Commissioners will review each County department’s fiscal year operating budget. These hearings provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the County’s financial planning and provide input on funding allocations.
The budget hearings will take place at 10 a.m. at the Historic Courthouse in Minden (1616 8th St., Minden, NV 89423) on the following dates:
- March 24, 2025
- March 25, 2025
- March 31, 2025
- April 1, 2025
Following these hearings, a final update on the budget will be presented on April 30, 2025. The final adoption of the budget is scheduled for May 27, 2025.
These meetings will cover projected revenues, departmental expenditures, and potential funding priorities for the upcoming fiscal year.
