A certified copy of your marriage certificate will be available for purchase once the certificate has been recorded by our office. Per NRS 122.130, the certificate is to be submitted for recording within 10 days after the marriage.

Certified copies of marriage certificates are $15 each. You can obtain a copy by credit card using our online Marriage Search or by phone 775-782-9025. Requests made by mail should include the first and last names of both parties at the time of application, the date of marriage, return address, and contact phone number, along with a check or money order made payable to Douglas County Recorder.
