“I am thrilled that the County is moving forward under Mrs. Davidson’s leadership,” said Board Chairman Mark Gardner. “I look forward to seeing how her years of experience—coupled with bringing new ideas to the table—will be implemented, and I know she will bring incredible value to our community as County Manager.”
Davidson has nearly 16 years of experience in local government, with a background in public administration, as well as organizational leadership and development. She has worked in Douglas County for much of her career, serving as the Minden Town Manager from 2011 to 2018.
"I value the trust and confidence the Commission has in my ability, and I am honored to have been selected to carry out their vision for our community," Davidson said. "Every day, I am inspired by the skilled and dedicated professionals we have working to provide critical services on behalf of the organization. I am excited to continue to work with our outstanding leadership team to tackle the short- and long-range strategic priorities of the Commission, Douglas County businesses, and residents.”
