Douglas County, NV - Douglas County is pleased to announce the appointment of Jessica Stocking as the new Camp Director of China Spring Youth Camp. With a rich background in youth services and program development, Jessica is set to bring her extensive experience and passion for helping at-risk adolescents to our community.

Jessica's career has been marked by her dedication to youth services. Prior to joining China Spring Youth Camp and Aurora Pines, she served as the Director of the Western Nevada Regional Youth Center. Most of her career was spent at The Children’s Cabinet, where she played a crucial role in program development and identifying gaps in community services. Her passion for working with children and her commitment to making a positive impact have been the driving forces behind her career.

"I have always had a passion for kids and find this work to be incredibly rewarding," Jessica said. "I am excited to bring my experience and dedication to the director position and continue to support and uplift the youth in our community."

Jessica enjoys spending time outside with her husband Jeremy and their three children. Jessica has a busy household, which includes four dogs and a hairless cat.

The selection process for this position was highly competitive, yielding strong candidates.

ABOUT CHINA SPRING YOUTH CAMP

China Spring Youth Camp is committed to aiding male and female mid-level offenders aged 12 to 18 in developing essential skills, knowledge, and experiences to promote health, resiliency, and the arrest-progression of problems caused by delinquent behavior. The camp provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare services, including support for co-occurring issues, to youth and their families.

Guided by the principles of honor, trust, and accountability, the China Spring Youth Camp philosophy centers on helping at-risk adolescents define their values using the least restrictive means necessary.
